Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] hey [Applause] [Applause] hey guys welcome back to the channel I’m Justin Davis and today I’m going to give you an honest review of the new emac babyhawk it is their brushless micro that they’ve released there’s a ton of brushless micros coming out right now and everybody’s battling to get the best brushless micro out there uh this might be one of the top brushless micros out there on the market especially for the attractive price of $99 as I’m making this video the one you’re looking at right here is a pre-release version and I beat this one up out in the field I gave it a real drone camps test I tried to fly through Tre gaps I hit trees with it I crashed on the middle of the street in the concrete um I broke things on it I actually blacked out my camera and had to put a new camera on there uh which I have tons of those cameras in my shop anyway so no big deal uh you’ll be a lot more careful with yours than I am mine but I wanted to find out what this thing was made of for you guys so I put it to the test uh now I I was flying mine and something happened a motor flew off of it and I couldn’t figure out why and I was talking to ferate and he had the same issue with his uh emac sent him and I W and I ended up having to take my prop guards off because the screws they put in the bottom of the motors were too short they were maybe a half mm going into the motors so they just they weren’t lock heed and they just fell right out so now I’m missing one 2 3 4 five six seven motor bolts but that’s okay I have enough I took these off and I lock heed everything so if you get one of these make sure for God’s sake that you lock tight your bolts on there very very important cuz your your bolts will fly off now the emac flight controller on here is a proprietary flight controller it’s the female micro F3 flight controller it has a new CPU in it that makes it super super responsive and fast and agile U for for micro breastless racing it’s going to be great performer it out in the field when I was doing freestyle removers out in the field when I was doing freestyle Maneuvers it was really responsive and really Snappy uh and it seems like it floats a lot I mean the micros are great because when you’re 50 ft up in the air it feels like you’re 200 ft up um it’s really cool so you have tons of Hang Time and you have tons of time to respond to any types of situations uh because it’s so small and it does really does fly on 2s you get 2s batteries on it it flies great on 2s tons of punch out these props are designed to give you kind of a maximum thrust and punch out there are Tri props on here with four bolts on top and I believe the number on those props let’s see if I can see it here TS 2345 Tri blades and I believe those are emac proprietary props so you have to get those specifically for your baby hwk I’d like to see some different colors coming out with these too uh maybe some black ones as well now one other area that kind of concerned me about this baby Hulk was the fact that this isn’t all plastic frame and it’s a plastic tower that the camera sits in that concerned me first my first concern was the tower might break right here where the arms stick up there’s two arms that come up right here but this held up really really well I crashed it in the middle the street cartwheeled uh the battery flew off it was a really good crash and I actually put dents on each end because at that time when I crashed I didn’t have any prop guards on it so the motors took the full brunt of the crash right underneath each motor and I was afraid that there would be a stress point right here because this is plastic I thought this heavy motor when it hit would bend back and just Shear this right here uh and that was my main concern but crashing on the middle of the street it it did didn’t happen so that was really cool that this whole frame held up and emac was pretty smart by making this design a really attractive looking design for a plastic frame uh it’s amazing how much hype is surrounding the baby hawk even though it’s a plastic frame because everyone loves carbon fiber right now carbon fiber is going crazy so this is pretty durable for a plastic frame and I think it provides a lot of protection the way they have it designed for the flight controler ESC inside now let’s talk about that ESC stack in there the ESC is a 6 amp it’s programmable in Boi Suite which is cool that’s what we want but most of all it’s the bullet series those bullet ESC are about the size of your fingernail and they can run up to 30 amps so they’re super tiny and very very efficient and they’re running dshot as well in there so very cool that they have dshot now the all-in-one camera I did actually burn mine out as I was saying it’s uh I’ve replaced it I have a ton of these around my shop but the cool thing is is it’s pretty standard camera Bay so you can get an all-in-one camera and pop a new one back in there it just plugs right in on the bottom right here so no big deal I had tons of those laying around now the resolution on the camera I felt like it be a little higher it’s actually 520 tvl Coss camera so I was kind of hoping for like a 6 to 700 TBL on this baby hawk but you know what it’s it’s a decent camera and I got good color out of it so uh and it’s also running 40 channels 5.8 and you get 25 M to 200 M so 200 M on an all-in-one camera is awesome um and it doesn’t come with this Clover Leaf on top of it this is my replacement camera like I was saying the one that you get with this one comes with a singular antenna on there like a monopole type antenna so that’s pretty cool as well what we call a dipole antenna now the weight on this is about 60.3 gram so that is pretty competitive in the range of 90 millimeter micros uh the mosquito 70 is a little lighter but it’s also quite a bit smaller now the motors on here those are actually 1104 52 50s 5250 KVs they’re pretty Punchy for the setup uh I really felt like I had plenty of punch and plenty of Power with this 2s setup I mean this thing would probably be amazing on 3s if you wanted to upgrade the way it is out of the box stock this is probably one of the top brushless quads that I’ve f this year uh and I don’t say that about many of the brushless quads cuz I’ve had quite a few Duds come through my door uh in this revolution of micro quads the companies are scrambling to make the best RF uh the best RTF so the PMP version of this is $99 but it it doesn’t come with the receiver so you have to add your own Receiver right on top of the flight controller now I using the F FR Sky receiver on here and it’s it’s doing really nice I have a pretty decent range out of this this is the the latest and greatest micro FR Sky receiver compatible with my tyrannis plus it was very easy to bind up if you get one of these I want you to know that this little bind button on the back right here if you can just get this to focus for a second right there it’s a little gold button it is like the tiniest bind button in the history of man it is super small and you can barely feel it go down when you press it with your fingernail uh but it isn’t hard to bind up just like the x4r it’s uh pretty cut and dry when you go to bind it so these props are 2.3 in and they do perform quite well for this setup I I feel like the motors are beefy enough and the props are beefy enough to give this micro quite a bit of punch that punch that you’re looking for because sometimes when you get a micro and you go to punch out you’re really not impressed with how fast it punches out it’s you kind of waiting for the power to happen and sometimes it just never happens um so that’s kind of a bummer on some of the macros but I don’t feel that way when I’m flying this one it actually has quite a bit of punch out I was pretty impressed by that now it does have more punch out than something like the mosquito 70 mosquito 70 does have quite a bit smaller props uh and smaller Motors it has 1102s 10,000 KVs on this one I did have a ton of fun with this one it was fun because I was able to shoot really small gaps and have a lot of fun playing around with freestyle on it now there’s some things on this one that this one’s missing I feel like this one doesn’t have a beeper which is kind of a bummer and I was telling emac about that um I really would like to have a beeper on this because you have a pretty good range with this Sky receiver on here and I can go way out into the field uh and I crashed quite a few times and I had to walk around and look for this thing in the grass so um I would like to see that they they add a beeper on the release version that would be great if they could stuff a micro one in there somewhere for you guys uh would make this a lot easier to fly and find in High Grass if you if you crash in high grass it’s going to be really hard to find it um but this one the Furious is way more expensive $250 for this one like I said it does come with a beeper it’s sitting right up front right here uh so that’s kind of nice now the other Pitfall of this I feel like I wish it had OSD there’s no OSD on this one and I just got one in the shop yesterday that I’m super excited about that I’m going to show on the channel soon it has everything on there it has the Beeper it has an overlay it has a OSD on there for your on screen display and uh it’s not missing anything but we’ll see how that one performs as compared to this one so starting to get a lot of these micros in and we’ll uh we’ll do some comparisons for you so if you’re looking to get one you can get the right one the first time now the baby hog is compatible with different radios it’s compatible with FR FR Sky radios it’s compatible with the Jr radios it’s compatible with the uh Fly Sky r radios and uh the Spectrum users it’s also compatible with so you can run it pwm you can run it PPM and you can also run it sbus which I’m doing uh this little micro FR Sky sbus setup on D16 inside my radio so just for fun in this video I wanted to compare some of the different micros out there that are really popular right now this one is coming and this one is brand new on the market as well as the baby hog this is the pre-release like I was saying and the mosquito 70 is just out and one of the crowd favorites is the Aurora 90 uh I love this Frame and I love these low rider cameras how they have on the bottom mounted there uh and they’re not high up to get hit when you crash now like I said on the babyhawk I did take out my camera and I had to put a new camera on there but that was cuz I was kind of bashing around with it to see how durable it is and so far it’s probably one of the most durable ones that I have um this one I broke probably on the fifth flight I broke a motor and so I have four replacement motors sitting over to the side that gear best sent me uh so I’m going to put some brand new Motors on there actually better Motors than what it came with so I’m kind of excited about that but sizewise look at the size difference between say like the mosquito 70 and the baby hawk they’re pretty close in size I mean 20 mm and this one has ESC that are up inside the arms under here you can see them up inside these Vents and these don’t have vents so these esc’s are inside and they’re cased inside here so we’ll see how those do in the warmer months and the summer coming up I’ll hold up the Aurora 90 for you this one over here strangely similar to something I believe like a Tomo quad looks very similar to one of his this Frame but this one also has that sort of low rider cam in the front which I like cuz it’s a little more protected in crashes but from the very bottom these are pretty close in size and then the roora 90 let’s look at the bottom of that one this one’s got a lot of board Exposed on the bottom of it but your battery does ride down here so so I’ve got my scale all set up let’s go ahead and weigh the baby hawk first we’ll weigh it without the prop guards on there and see what we get 64 G Al together let’s add a battery on there so we’re looking at 84 gr with the battery without prop guards and we’ll add the prop guards on there the weight alone with the prop guards and no battery be 70 gram then we’ll add the battery on there and see what we get get a total takeoff weight of 92 grams not too bad with prop guards and everything let’s move that to the side the next one will’ll weigh is the AR fun also known as the Aurora 90 the new brushless quad coming out this one’s 57 G without the battery now with the 2s battery same size 2s 350 77 G total takeoff weight and we’ll do the Aurora 90 by it itself with the props on 46 G and let’s see with the battery we’re looking at 66 G total takeoff weight for the Aurora 90 now let’s do the mosquito 70 by itself no battery 44 G with the battery total takeoff weight is 64 G so they’re all relatively close in size so baby hawk is heavier of the bunch uh but that’s not a big deal when we get so so small because the performance of it is still really high so the USB port is located just under the receiver in the very back here and be careful when you plug yours in take your props off when you’re in beta flight if you do any motor testing to make sure this is set up right your motor directions are right take the props off because these props will hit the USB cable in the back that’s one bummer about this um but not a big deal because a lot of times I always tell people to take the props off when you’re working on your quads inside CU they can fly up and hit you uh a friend of mine just really had a nasty injury with his finger so let’s go ahead and connect here and check the orientations everything looks good here left right forward and back now I’m going to go ahead and show you the ports and they have the ports set up to Art one here and serial RX on Art 3 so you can uh bind up your sbus trannis F FR Sky receiver let’s go down here and serial based receiver specat sbus sbus down here is as well and let’s see the very bottom I turned off blackbox they do have air mode says permanently enable air mode on there so I did leave that on my fail safe is always set to drop which is what they have and for the pit tuning check this out hopefully you can see this here uh they do have the super rate set to 82 82 and 76 so surprisingly the roll rate was great it rolled really fast and was really responsive for freestyle Maneuvers I think for racing you could probably tone that down a little bit if you wanted to but this thing is super stable if you’re going to use it for racing as well now let’s check out the receiver everything was set up in here correctly uh and this is how I had my modes for the arm switch I’m on aux 3 and I could probably move that over just a little bit we’ll save that angle mode first on my switch second switch down is Horizon third switch is Acro and we’ll go down to the CLI here and I’ll type in version for you to show you what version’s on here and it has SP racing F3 Evo uh 3.0.1 October 18th 2016 I can bring that up to the latest and greatest version um that’s not the newest version on there but it it works for what I have on there right now and sometimes if it’s not broke I don’t fix it I just fly it so that’s about it for the beta flight setup let’s go ahead and uh go outside and do some flying with the baby [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] hawk hey 5.33 hey guys welcome back to the channel I&;m
5.33 Justin Davis and today I&;m going to give
5.33 you an honest review of the new emac
5.33 babyhawk it is their brushless micro
5.33 that they&;ve released there&;s a ton of
5.33 brushless micros coming out right now
5.33 and everybody&;s battling to get the best
5.33 brushless micro out there uh this might
5.33 be one of the top
5.33 brushless micros out there on the market
5.33 especially for the attractive price of
5.33 $99 as I&;m making this video the one
5.33 you&;re looking at right here is a
5.33 pre-release version and I beat this one
5.33 up out in the field I gave it a real
5.33 drone camps test I tried to fly through
5.33 Tre gaps I hit trees with it I crashed
5.33 on the middle of the street in the
5.33 concrete um I broke things on it I
5.33 actually blacked out my camera and had
5.33 to put a new camera on there uh which I
5.33 have tons of those cameras in my shop
5.33 anyway so no big deal uh you&;ll be a lot
5.33 more careful with yours than I am mine
5.33 but I wanted to find out what this thing
5.33 was made of for you guys so I put it to
5.33 the test uh now I I was flying mine and
5.33 something happened a motor flew off of
5.33 it and I couldn&;t figure out why and I
5.33 was talking to ferate and he had the
5.33 same issue with his uh emac sent him and
5.33 I W and I ended up having to take my
5.33 prop guards off because the screws they
5.33 put in the bottom of the motors were too
5.33 short they were maybe a half mm going
5.33 into the motors so they just they
5.33 weren&;t lock heed and they just fell
5.33 right out so now I&;m missing one 2 3 4
5.33 five six seven motor bolts but that&;s
5.33 okay I have enough I took these off and
5.33 I lock heed everything so if you get one
5.33 of these make sure for God&;s sake that
5.33 you lock tight your bolts on there very
5.33 very important cuz your your bolts will
5.33 fly off now the emac flight controller
5.33 on here is a proprietary flight
5.33 controller it&;s the female micro F3
5.33 flight controller
5.33 it has a new CPU in it that makes it
5.33 super super responsive and fast and
5.33 agile U for for micro breastless racing
5.33 it&;s going to be great performer it out
5.33 in the field when I was doing freestyle
5.33 removers out in the field when I was
5.33 doing freestyle Maneuvers it was really
5.33 responsive and really Snappy uh and it
5.33 seems like it floats a lot I mean the
5.33 micros are great because when you&;re 50
5.33 ft up in the air it feels like you&;re
5.33 200 ft up um it&;s really cool so you
5.33 have tons of Hang Time and you have tons
5.33 of time to respond to any types of
5.33 situations uh because it&;s so small and
5.33 it does really does fly on 2s you get 2s
5.33 batteries on it it flies great on 2s
5.33 tons of punch out these props are
5.33 designed to give you kind of a maximum
5.33 thrust and punch out there are Tri props
5.33 on here with four bolts on top and I
5.33 believe the number on those props let&;s
5.33 see if I can see it here TS
5.33 2345 Tri blades and I believe those are
5.33 emac proprietary props so you have to
5.33 get those specifically for your baby hwk
5.33 I&;d like to see some different colors
5.33 coming out with these too uh maybe some
5.33 black ones as well now one other area
5.33 that kind of concerned me about this
5.33 baby Hulk was the fact that this isn&;t
5.33 all plastic frame and it&;s a plastic
5.33 tower that the camera sits in that
5.33 concerned me first my first concern was
5.33 the tower might break right here where
5.33 the arms stick up there&;s two arms that
5.33 come up right here but this held up
5.33 really really well I crashed it in the
5.33 middle the street cartwheeled uh the
5.33 battery flew off it was a really good
5.33 crash and I actually put dents on each
5.33 end because at that time when I crashed
5.33 I didn&;t have any prop guards on it so
5.33 the motors took the full brunt of the
5.33 crash right underneath each motor and I
5.33 was afraid that there would be a stress
5.33 point right here because this is plastic
5.33 I thought this heavy motor when it hit
5.33 would bend back and just Shear this
5.33 right here uh and that was my main
5.33 concern but crashing on the middle of
5.33 the street it it did didn&;t happen so
5.33 that was really cool that this whole
5.33 frame held up and emac was pretty smart
5.33 by making this design a really
5.33 attractive looking design for a plastic
5.33 frame uh it&;s amazing how much hype is
5.33 surrounding the baby hawk even though
5.33 it&;s a plastic frame because everyone
5.33 loves carbon fiber right now carbon
5.33 fiber is going crazy so this is pretty
5.33 durable for a plastic frame and I think
5.33 it provides a lot of protection the way
5.33 they have it designed for the flight
5.33 controler ESC inside now let&;s talk
5.33 about that ESC stack in there the ESC is
5.33 a 6 amp it&;s programmable in Boi Suite
5.33 which is cool that&;s what we want but
5.33 most of all it&;s the bullet series those
5.33 bullet ESC are about the size of your
5.33 fingernail and they can run up to 30
5.33 amps so they&;re super tiny and very very
5.33 efficient and they&;re running dshot as
5.33 well in there so very cool that they
5.33 have dshot now the all-in-one camera I
5.33 did actually burn mine out as I was
5.33 saying it&;s uh I&;ve replaced it I have a
5.33 ton of these around my shop but the cool
5.33 thing is is it&;s pretty standard camera
5.33 Bay so you can get an all-in-one camera
5.33 and pop a new one back in there it just
5.33 plugs right in on the bottom right here
5.33 so no big deal I had tons of those
5.33 laying around now the resolution on the
5.33 camera I felt like it be a little higher
5.33 it&;s actually 520 tvl Coss camera so I
5.33 was kind of hoping for like a 6 to 700
5.33 TBL on this baby hawk but you know what
5.33 it&;s it&;s a decent camera and I got good
5.33 color out of it so uh and it&;s also
5.33 running 40 channels 5.8 and you get 25 M
5.33 to 200 M so 200 M on an all-in-one
5.33 camera is awesome um and it doesn&;t come
5.33 with this Clover Leaf on top of it this
5.33 is my replacement camera like I was
5.33 saying the one that you get with this
5.33 one comes with a singular antenna on
5.33 there like a monopole type antenna so
5.33 that&;s pretty cool as well what we call
5.33 a dipole antenna now the weight on this
5.33 is about 60.3 gram so that is pretty
5.33 competitive in the range of 90
5.33 millimeter micros uh the mosquito 70 is
5.33 a little lighter but it&;s also quite a
5.33 bit smaller now the motors on here those
5.33 are actually 1104 52 50s 5250 KVs
5.33 they&;re pretty Punchy for the setup uh I
5.33 really felt like I had plenty of punch
5.33 and plenty of Power with this 2s setup I
5.33 mean this thing would probably be
5.33 amazing on 3s if you wanted to upgrade
5.33 the way it is out of the box stock this
5.33 is probably one of the top brushless
5.33 quads that I&;ve f this year uh and I
5.33 don&;t say that about many of the
5.33 brushless quads cuz I&;ve had quite a few
5.33 Duds come through my door uh in this
5.33 revolution of micro quads the companies
5.33 are scrambling to make the best RF uh
5.33 the best RTF so the PMP version of this
5.33 is $99 but it it doesn&;t come with the
5.33 receiver so you have to add your own
5.33 Receiver right on top of the flight
5.33 controller now I using the F FR Sky
5.33 receiver on here and it&;s it&;s doing
5.33 really nice I have a pretty decent range
5.33 out of this this is the the latest and
5.33 greatest micro FR Sky receiver
5.33 compatible with my tyrannis plus it was
5.33 very easy to bind up if you get one of
5.33 these I want you to know that this
5.33 little bind button on the back right
5.33 here if you can just get this to focus
5.33 for a second right there it&;s a little
5.33 gold button it is like the tiniest bind
5.33 button in the history of man it is super
5.33 small and you can barely feel it go down
5.33 when you press it with your fingernail
5.33 uh but it isn&;t hard to bind up just
5.33 like
5.33 the x4r it&;s uh pretty cut and dry when
5.33 you go to bind it so these props are 2.3
5.33 in and they do perform quite well for
5.33 this setup I I feel like the motors are
5.33 beefy enough and the props are beefy
5.33 enough to give this micro quite a bit of
5.33 punch that punch that you&;re looking for
5.33 because sometimes when you get a micro
5.33 and you go to punch out you&;re really
5.33 not impressed with how fast it punches
5.33 out it&;s you kind of waiting for the
5.33 power to happen and sometimes it just
5.33 never happens um so that&;s kind of a
5.33 bummer on some of the macros but I don&;t
5.33 feel that way when I&;m flying this one
5.33 it actually has quite a bit of punch out
5.33 I was pretty impressed by that now it
5.33 does have more punch out than something
5.33 like the mosquito 70 mosquito 70 does
5.33 have quite a bit smaller props uh and
5.33 smaller Motors it has 1102s 10,000 KVs
5.33 on this one I did have a ton of fun with
5.33 this one it was fun because I was able
5.33 to shoot really small gaps and have a
5.33 lot of fun playing around with freestyle
5.33 on it now there&;s some things on this
5.33 one that this one&;s missing I feel like
5.33 this one doesn&;t have a beeper which is
5.33 kind of a bummer and I was telling emac
5.33 about that um I really would like to
5.33 have a beeper on this because you have a
5.33 pretty good range with this Sky receiver
5.33 on here and I can go way out into the
5.33 field uh and I crashed quite a few times
5.33 and I had to walk around and look for
5.33 this thing in the grass so um I would
5.33 like to see that they they add a beeper
5.33 on the release version that would be
5.33 great if they could stuff a micro one in
5.33 there somewhere for you guys uh would
5.33 make this a lot easier
5.33 to fly and find in High Grass if you if
5.33 you crash in high grass it&;s going to be
5.33 really hard to find it um but this one
5.33 the Furious is way more expensive $250
5.33 for this one like I said it does come
5.33 with a beeper it&;s sitting right up
5.33 front right here uh so that&;s kind of
5.33 nice now the other Pitfall of this I
5.33 feel like I wish it had OSD there&;s no
5.33 OSD on this one and I just got one in
5.33 the shop yesterday that I&;m super
5.33 excited about that I&;m going to show on
5.33 the channel soon it has everything on
5.33 there it has the Beeper it has an
5.33 overlay it has a OSD on there for your
5.33 on screen display and uh it&;s not
5.33 missing anything but we&;ll see how that
5.33 one performs as compared to this one so
5.33 starting to get a lot of these micros in
5.33 and we&;ll uh we&;ll do some comparisons
5.33 for you so if you&;re looking to get one
5.33 you can get the right one the first time
5.33 now the baby hog is compatible with
5.33 different radios it&;s compatible with FR
5.33 FR Sky radios it&;s compatible with the
5.33 Jr radios it&;s compatible with the uh
5.33 Fly Sky r radios and uh the Spectrum
5.33 users it&;s also compatible with so you
5.33 can run it pwm you can run it PPM and
5.33 you can also run it sbus which I&;m doing
5.33 uh this little micro FR Sky sbus setup
5.33 on D16 inside my radio so just for fun
5.33 in this video I wanted to compare some
5.33 of the different micros out there that
5.33 are really popular right now this one is
5.33 coming and this one is brand new on the
5.33 market as well as the baby hog this is
5.33 the pre-release like I was saying and
5.33 the mosquito 70 is just out and one of
5.33 the crowd favorites is the Aurora 90 uh
5.33 I love this Frame and I love these low
5.33 rider cameras how they have on the
5.33 bottom mounted there uh and they&;re not
5.33 high up to get hit when you crash now
5.33 like I said on the babyhawk I did take
5.33 out my camera and I had to put a new
5.33 camera on there but that was cuz I was
5.33 kind of bashing around with it to see
5.33 how durable it is and so far it&;s
5.33 probably one of the most durable ones
5.33 that I have um this one I broke probably
5.33 on the fifth flight I broke a motor and
5.33 so I have four replacement motors
5.33 sitting over to the side that gear best
5.33 sent me uh so I&;m going to put some
5.33 brand new Motors on there actually
5.33 better Motors than what it came with so
5.33 I&;m kind of excited about that but
5.33 sizewise look at the size difference
5.33 between say like the mosquito 70 and the
5.33 baby hawk they&;re pretty close in size I
5.33 mean 20
5.33 mm and this one has ESC that are up
5.33 inside the arms under here you can see
5.33 them up inside these Vents and these
5.33 don&;t have vents so these esc&;s are
5.33 inside and they&;re cased inside here so
5.33 we&;ll see how those do in the warmer
5.33 months and the summer coming up I&;ll
5.33 hold up the Aurora 90 for you this one
5.33 over here strangely similar to something
5.33 I believe like a Tomo quad looks very
5.33 similar to one of his this Frame but
5.33 this one also has that sort of low rider
5.33 cam in the front which I like cuz it&;s a
5.33 little more protected in crashes but
5.33 from the very bottom these are pretty
5.33 close in
5.33 size and then the roora 90 let&;s look at
5.33 the bottom of that one this one&;s got a
5.33 lot of board Exposed on the bottom of it
5.33 but your battery does ride down here so
5.33 so I&;ve got my scale all set up let&;s go
5.33 ahead and weigh the baby hawk first
5.33 we&;ll weigh it without the prop guards
5.33 on there and see what we get 64 G Al
5.33 together let&;s add a battery on there so
5.33 we&;re looking at 84 gr with the battery
5.33 without prop guards and we&;ll add the
5.33 prop guards on there the weight alone
5.33 with the prop guards and no battery be
5.33 70 gram then we&;ll add the battery on
5.33 there and see what we get get a total
5.33 takeoff weight of 92 grams not too bad
5.33 with prop guards and everything let&;s
5.33 move that to the side the next one
5.33 will&;ll weigh is the AR fun also known
5.33 as the Aurora 90 the new brushless quad
5.33 coming out this one&;s 57 G without the
5.33 battery now with the 2s battery same
5.33 size 2s 350 77 G total takeoff
5.33 weight and we&;ll do the Aurora 90 by it
5.33 itself with the props on 46 G and let&;s
5.33 see with the battery we&;re looking at 66
5.33 G total takeoff
5.33 weight for the Aurora 90 now let&;s do
5.33 the mosquito
5.33 70 by itself no battery 44
5.33 G with the battery total takeoff weight
5.33 is 64 G so they&;re all relatively close
5.33 in size so baby hawk is heavier of the
5.33 bunch uh but that&;s not a big deal when
5.33 we get so so small
5.33 because the performance of it is still
5.33 really high so the USB port is located
5.33 just under the receiver in the very back
5.33 here and be careful when you plug yours
5.33 in take your props off when you&;re in
5.33 beta flight if you do any motor testing
5.33 to make sure this is set up right your
5.33 motor directions are right take the
5.33 props off because these props will hit
5.33 the USB cable in the back that&;s one
5.33 bummer about this um but not a big deal
5.33 because a lot of times I always tell
5.33 people to take the props off when you&;re
5.33 working on your quads inside CU they can
5.33 fly up and hit you uh a friend of mine
5.33 just really had a nasty injury with his
5.33 finger so let&;s go ahead and connect
5.33 here and check the orientations
5.33 everything looks good here left right
5.33 forward and back now I&;m going to go
5.33 ahead and show you the ports and they
5.33 have the ports set up to Art one here
5.33 and serial RX on Art 3 so you can uh
5.33 bind up your sbus trannis F FR Sky
5.33 receiver let&;s go down here and serial
5.33 based receiver specat sbus sbus down
5.33 here is as well and let&;s see the very
5.33 bottom I turned off blackbox they do
5.33 have air mode says permanently enable
5.33 air mode on there so I did leave that on
5.33 my fail safe is always set to drop which
5.33 is what they have and for the pit tuning
5.33 check this out hopefully you can see
5.33 this here uh they do have the super rate
5.33 set to 82 82 and 76 so surprisingly the
5.33 roll rate was great it rolled really
5.33 fast and was really responsive for
5.33 freestyle Maneuvers I think for racing
5.33 you could probably tone that down a
5.33 little bit if you wanted to but this
5.33 thing is super stable if you&;re going to
5.33 use it for racing as well now let&;s
5.33 check out the receiver everything was
5.33 set up in here correctly uh and this is
5.33 how I had my modes for the arm switch
5.33 I&;m on aux 3 and I could probably move
5.33 that over just a little
5.33 bit we&;ll save that angle mode first on
5.33 my switch second switch down is Horizon
5.33 third switch is
5.33 Acro and we&;ll go down to
5.33 the CLI here and I&;ll type in version
5.33 for you to show you what version&;s on
5.33 here and it has SP racing F3 Evo uh
5.33 3.0.1 October 18th 2016 I can bring that
5.33 up to the latest and greatest version um
5.33 that&;s not the newest version on there
5.33 but it it works for what I have on there
5.33 right now and sometimes if it&;s not
5.33 broke I don&;t fix it I just fly it so
5.33 that&;s about it for the beta flight
5.33 setup let&;s go ahead and uh go outside
5.33 and do some flying with the baby
