Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: Ukraine has launched what appears to be its biggest ever drone attack on Moscow at least one person is thought to have been killed three injured it closed all four airports in Moscow the mayor of the Russian Capital said that 73 drones were shot down Katarina Malo is a journalist in ke joins us now good morning good morning what do we know about this attack at the moment uh as far as understand what I see from the news that approximately at 3 uh this morning um Ukraine launched a massive attack of drones on Ukraine on Russia’s capital moscos and I understand that uh at least one person um according to the Russian official uh was killed and that um because of the attack on the airport inava sha um there suspended as well as the railway was damaged Railway connection from deda to Moscow was uh connected I can see that uh in Ukrainian media that there is a huge um basically enthusiasm about this because uh they’re saying that um finally Moscow can uh feel what feels normally ke Zia har and other uh cities uh just want to say that it didn’t happen only um one side you know because uh tonight uh uh Russia also launched the attack on Ukrainian cities as well so up to 70 uh drones um have been intercepted 35 drones lost uh um lost Vos from the raadar so they might be jumped or they might disconnected do we what should we read into the significance of the timing of this attack because clearly those talks are about to get underway in Saudi Arabia you might think that this would be the time that Ukraine would be Keen to dial down any sort of military escalation and yet this seems to be a a dialing up of it uh well not really about dialing dialing down because um as far as you remember when Ukrainian president Vadim zilinski he was about to depart to Saudi Arabia so he spoke to he address a nation and he he said that uh we still on the position Ukraine is still on the position of um uh showing um basically uh come to peace from the position of force uh go into the peace talk from the position of force because uh otherwise Ukraine has been um pressured uh to sign the deals uh to there are also rumors that uh us um us side will be pressuring Ukrainian president zansky to step down to launch their uh election Etc so um Ukraine is approaching this uh uh these talks from the position of force and as far as you know um there was a there there are risk of course in the ksk region where the fighting continues because uh this area in Russia is Ukrainian leverage in the negotiations but uh at the moment Ukrainian forces still control K region still in suja despite Russia’s uh attempts to break through through the gas pipeline to to suja which is 10 kilm away from the Ukrainian border Katarina malaa he’s a gen in ke bringing us the latest there on that story that Ukraine has launched what appears to be its biggest ever drone attack on Moscow so far during the war um really interesting that Katarina reflecting there that the timing of this is significant because zansky president zanski wants to go into those talks from a position of of fighting strength yeah and he must feel otherwise his legs have been cut off by everyone else over the pr previous sort of couple of months we’re going to keep an eye on what what what Russia does in response and what the Fallout of that attack is the potentially the biggest drone strike uh in the of the war against Moscow Martin fores news editor at the KE independent is speaking to us now from Lviv good morning good morning thanks for having me uh what is the latest on this drone attack uh so it is uh as you said that this could possibly be the largest drone attack not only against Moscow but against Russia overall during the full scale War so far uh reports are coming from Russian officials that about 20 cars in apartment building and several warehouses were damaged across Moscow blast we have report of one civilian killed and several others injured of course Ukraine usually targets military sites industrial facilities when attacks like this happen and we are waiting for more information from Ukrainian officials Ukrainian military I mean what do we make it the timing of this we were talking to a Ukrainian journalist earlier who was saying that the timing is significant because we know that these talks are about to begin and it’s a show of strength essentially from Ukraine uh the timing is of course interesting because uh according to certain reports one of the proposals that Ukraine delegation plans to discuss in Saudi Arabia with the US is a partial truth that would extend to Aerial strikes and Naval operations so we can of course only speculate that this could be some kind of effort to raise the stakes ahead of this proposal and uh demonstrate to Russia that it is also in its own interest to uh agree to this partial truce is that likely to be a helpful tactic do you think cuz some people might say well look you know you’re going into peace talks today launching a huge scale drone attack is about the the worst possible timing well we have to understand that this is not a simply one-sided escalation from Ukraine side the same day Russia launched over 100 drones against Ukraine and these kind of attacks happen every day on effectively on daily basis and because of that they don’t make such headlines as the current attack does but the hostilities continue even despite all the efforts by ukrainians by Americans to negotiate some of Truth the war continues yeah I mean it is a good point what what is the likely um reaction from Russia is have you heard anything being reported uh in the media out there about about the likely response to this attack uh so far no immediate reactions that I could see uh but as I as I said Russia launched similarly or not as major attack but L but launched considerable attack against Ukrainian targets the same night so uh we can see that this is reciprocal every day and just finally Elon Musk overnight has suggested that a Cyber attack on his xplatform originated from an area of Ukraine now there are mixed reports other groups have suggested that they take responsibility for that attack what do you make of that suggestion it seems that Elon Musk is linking the outage of x to coming from Ukraine oh of course I uh don’t have any information on how he came to this conclusion as far as I know he did not provide any evidence of this and uh I don’t see a specific angle that would Ukraine have to gain by attacking X in any way and we saw that Elon Musk of course adopted increasingly anti- Ukraine rhetoric uh for example the same day he attacked uh US senator Mark Kelly as a traitor for simpling voicing support for Ukraine so uh my reaction is at least that of skepticism Martin fek news editor at the Key of independent speaking to us from leiv really appreciate your time this morning thank you um we we kind of normalize the musk don’t we but he did accuse a senator for just visiting and offering support to Ukraine of being a traitor who’s saying and this is the most significant other than Trump man in the in the US government and Trump overnight has said he’s going to buy Tesla today to support Tesla stocks which are down 15% I mean whatever happens in Saudi Arabia with the US L talks with Ukraine it’s absolutely clear us regard the US Administration regards Ukraine as a problem not as an ally and not as a a victim .
